About the College
Al-Ummah College of Education is an establishment of Jama’atu Ta’awunil Muslimeen under the able leadership of Shaykh Daood Imran Malasan (Abu Sayfullah) who thought of establishing a college of education in 2003 with a view to producing sufficient competent, model and God-fearing teachers in the realm of education. Prior to the time, Shaykh Daood had brought a diploma in Arabic programme from Kano called Shaykh Dr. Ibrahim Institute of Arabic and Education precisely in 2010
Mission
To be the best in producing professional, God-fearing and morally upright teachers, theoretically and practically inclined as an instrument of real pedagogical knowledge and employment creation for national development.
Vision
To be the best centre in Africa where fanning the ember of knowledge in its real context and contributing to the lives of mankind educationally, scientifically, religiously and vocationally with a view to making the youth and adult utilizing their God-given endowment to be continuously relevant to the robust and accelerated development of the nation’s education for self-reliance and poverty extermination among humanity in general.

Students are the only tool to make the great future for a nation and they are uncountable in generations; when the teachers are the only instrument to make and model the students, for real renaissance of our nation we need productive model teachers.
OBJECTIVES OF THE COLLEGE
The below objectives of Al-Ummah college of Education are conceptualized in addition to the National objectives for Teacher Education in the National Policy on Education (NPE) and National Teachers Education Policy (NTEP).
- 01 To establish a pure moral and ethical college of education producing professionally and practically competent teachers for generations in Nigeria and beyond.
- 02 To impact teaching professionalism into society as a way of saving the nation from intellectual degradation.
- 03 To produce graduates of sound mind groomed on religiousity, patriotism and self-discipline to uplift the nation.
- 04 To train the young generation in the areas of humanity, social sciences, pure sciences and technology with a view to accelerating human power for dynamic development.
- 05 To bring practical vocational education into society rather than theoretical certification for self-empowerment.
